| At present we are holding everything in abeyance as there is no way forward until a decision has been reached concerning a site on which to build the Recreation Area. Any advice from the Parish Council will be most welcome. |
AGM
Minutes Of Annual General Meeting Held On 13 April 2005 At
Jubilee Hall, Litcham Present: Sharon Moore, Judith Bentley, Sadie
Bailey, Karen Bradley, Lynda Oldfield, Jan Goodey and Diana Collen,
Les Raven (representing Parish Council)
Apologies: Vicky Raven, Sue Patterson and Debbie Read.
Chairman. Judith Bentley took the chair of the meeting. The Chairman announced that a quorum was present
Notice: Notice convening the meeting was taken as read.
Chairman's Report: This is a very short report as things
have not really moved on that much from last year. We have raised
the sum of £500.00 this year through the sheer hard
work and dedication of a very small band of people. We will continue
to raise funds with various fund raising events.
Breckland Council has earmarked the piece of land between the
Weasenham and Wellingham Roads for affordable housing however,
the Parish Council have asked that if housing is built on the
land, then an area of the land should be set aside for a play
area for the village. This sounds promising.
The Village Appraisal was given to the Parish Council some time
ago, but, unfortunately it is now out of date and they are hoping
to produce a more up to date version. Good luck to them as we
know how much hard work is involved.
Finally, I would like to thank everyone on the Play 2000 Committee
for their continued support and a big thank you to those people
from the village who come along to our fund raising events.
