GREAT DUNHAM FLOWER & PRODUCE SHOW

We will be holding an Open Flower & Produce Show on

Saturday 2nd September 2016 at Great Dunham Village Hall 1pm - 3pm

Entry fees are only 20p per item and it is chance to showcase what you have grown or made

Entry fees for children are only 10p per item, a decorated cupcake or fruit or vegetable creature.

Entries accepted between 4-6pm on Friday 1st September and on the morning of the show from 9-11am.

Judging will take place at 11:30am and then the show is open to the public from 1pm to 3pm.

Refreshments will be available together with a Tombola to raise funds for
Great Dunham Amenities Committee and Swaffham & Litcham Home Hospice.

UPPERNAR GARDENERS

‘Wild Flowers in the Garden: Friend or Foe?’ a talk by Simon Harrap

Thursday 14th September at 7:30 in the village hall

Simon is the author of a number of books including Harrap's Wild Flowers

and a definitive guide to the orchids of Britain and Ireland.

He has also written a number of books about the wild flowers of Norfolk.

As ever, it should be an entertaining and informative evening, so do come along.

The cost is £3, and that will include refreshments.
